Norita Henly Lauman on Friday, July 1, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Clinton A. “Detz” Lauman. Mother of Rita Lauman Lohman (Husband Mike), Carol L. Phillips (Jack), Irene L. Lacombe (Husband, the late Forest), Clinton E. “Detz” Lauman (Wife Mina) and the late Elroy Lauman. Daughter of the late Irene Smith Henly and Edward Henly. Sister of Eileen Meilleur (Husband Don), Irene Moncrief (Husband, the late Billy), Elroy Henly (Wife the late Meryl) and the late Evelyn Stanifer (Husband the late Foy), Mildred Ahysen and Edward Henly (Wife Edwina). Grandmother of Lori Tompson, Michael, Daniel and Gary Lohman, Julie Oddo, Brian Phillips, Susan Estopinal, Karen Flattmann, Clinton Jr. and Robert Lauman, Kelly Milano, Forest, Billy and Adam Lacombe, Elroy and Steven Lauman. Also survived by 26 Great Grandchildren, 10 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Age 95, a native and resident of Algiers and Terrytown for the past 8 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Information: 504-366-4343.
