Norma Lidia Alvarez Pratt

March 27, 1930 — October 28, 2013

Norma Lidia Alvarez Pratt entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 28, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Robert Thomas Pratt, Sr. Mother of Robert Thomas Pratt, Jr., Teresa Marie Young (Michael), Reuben Malcolm Pratt, and Norma Jean Barrus (Alan). Grandmother of Katheryn (Nathan), Amy, Sarah, Hannah, Emily, Seth, and Zackary. Daughter of the late Teresa Alvarez and Dolores Gonzalez. Sister of Elsa Alvarez, Irma Rosa, Gladys Bandy, and the late Rigoberto Gonzalez. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pratt taught preschool at Oak Park Baptist Church for over 32 years, and volunteered with countless community organizations.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Oak Park Baptist Church, 1110 Kabel Drive, Algiers, LA on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 11am. Interment at Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Visitation will be at church Thursday morning from 9am until funeral time.
