Norman Lee Buras

Norman Lee Buras entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the age of 67. Beloved and loving husband of 15 years to Jennie Gray Buras. Son of the late Quentin Royal Buras and Edith McClatchey Buras. Devoted and loving father of Dawn Buras, Wendy LeBlanc, Randy Gray and Julius Gray. Grandfather of Patrick Emile LeBlanc, Nicole LeBlanc, Monique Ashley Leblanc, Gabrielle Levy, and Courtney Buras. Great Grandfather of Eleny LeBlanc. Brother of Quentin Joseph Buras, Albert Roy Buras and Janice Fay Lawtum. Norman is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to St. Joseph Hospice, AmeriCare Hospice and Notre Dame Hospice for their love and great care given to Norman. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 11AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn South Cemetery, Terrytown, LA.
