Norman Joseph Gautreaux entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Frances Lemonier Gautreaux. Son of the late Ellis Gauthreaux and Corinne Guidry Gauthreaux. Father of Cynthia Ann Ellison (Husband Mack Ellison) and the late Deanna Frances Schouest (Survived by former husband, Carroll Schouest). Grandfather of Bart Schouest, Brett Schouest, Bryan Schouest, Evan Ellison and Heather Schouest Povsnar. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren, 1 expected great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Ellis Gauthreaux, Hoid Gauthreaux, Richard Gauthreaux, Adam Gauthreaux, Ernest Gauthreaux, Corinne Solo, Marie Gauthreaux and Eve Griffis. Visitation was held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 8:30AM until 9:30AM. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6th Street, Gretna, LA on Tuesday at 10AM. Interment was held in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
