Octavio Baldassaro peacefully went to heaven surrounded by his family on July 26, 2016. Beloved husband of Helena Hourcade Baldassaro. Father of Penny Baldassaro (Gregory), August Baldassaro (Liz), Tammy Pierce (Doug), and the late Joseph Baldassaro and Lisa McGee (Marlin).
Grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Son of the late Augustine Baldassaro and Marie Ditta Baldassaro. Brothers of Guy Baldassaro, Joseph Baldassaro (Sally), Jenny Zahn (Papa John), Mary Ann Breaux (Ralph) and the late Mamie Shano (Charles) and Augustine Baldassaro Jr. Age 79 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Marrero, LA. He proudly served in the US Army and was a retired school bus driver for handicapped children in Jefferson Parish. Interment will be private.
