Odile Guidroz Pierce

Odile Guidroz Pierce passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Abel “Black” J. Pierce. Mother of Nickles J. Pierce (Elaine Dee), Gary P. Pierce (Cathy Franklin Pierce), Joylean “Joy Pierce. Daughter of the late Eleanore Savoie Guidroz and Clovis W. Guidroz. Sister of Leo Sr., Melvin Sr., Roland Guidroz, Carolyn Breaux, and the late Louella Ledet Livaccari, and Clovis “C.J.”. Survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. Odile retired from Immaculate Conception School after 27 years. A native of Lafource Parish and a resident of Marrero, La. for the past 58 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family, Waggaman Golden Age, Immaculata K.C. & Auxiliary 4222, and Ladies Altar Society are invited to attend the funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 4401 7th Street, Marrero on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 11AM. Visitation will be held at the church Thursday, from 9AM until funeral time. Parlors will be open Wednesday, July 24 at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA from 6PM until 10PM.
