Olive DeRouen Gauthreaux entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Stanley Gauthreaux. Daughter of the late Samuel Joseph DeRouen and Elise Marceaux DeRouen. Mother of Sylvia Gauthreaux Cox (Husband Vincent Jr.), Sidney Gauthreaux (Wife Marilyn), Judy Gauthreaux Case (Husband Daryll), Carolyn Gauthreaux Carderara (Husband Mike), Stanley Paul Gauthreaux (Wife Lee) and the late Larry Stokes. Sister of Collette Waters of Lake Arthur, LA and the late Murphy DeRouen, Evelyn Buffone, Josephine Abshire, Raymond DeRouen, J.M. DeRouen and Samuel Joseph DeRouen. Olive leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Cletus Catholic Church, Claire Avenue, Gretna, LA on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cletus Catholic Church on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
