Otilia R. Ortega

Otilia Ortega, age 73, passed away on June 3, 2011 in New Orleans, LA. Born in Twin Sisters, TX, on June 24, 1937, she was the daughter of Ceberino Rendon and Maria Vargas Rendon. A resident of New Orleans since 1969, she was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She had retired from the U. S. Navy Exchange and had been a volunteer with the Father Francis X. Seelos Center in New Orleans. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clemente Ortega, Mrs. Ortega is survived by her children, Daniel Ortega, David Ortega, and Julia Ruth (Stephen); grandchildren, Jason Ortega, David Ortega, Daniel Ortega, Amanda Ortega and Christian Ruth. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Algiers, LA on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 8:30 AM.
