Secky Reid, age 70 left us to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 4, 2025. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but also grew up in Purvis, Mississippi and resided in Terrytown, Louisiana. Secky served his country in The Marine Corps from 1971-1975. He belonged to The Local 1244 Painters and Allied Trades Union. He took pride in painting bridges from coast to coast and everywhere in between. What he loved most was family and connecting with them. He worked hard from a very young age to help provide for them and continued to do so through his life. He made everyone feel included and loved and took care of anyone that needed it if he could. He also had and loved many hobbies, riding his Harley, metal detecting, going on adventures, adding to his many collections and researching family history where just a few. He was best at story telling and his stories and memory will live on through the many that loved him and will forever be remembered and missed.
