P. Lloyd Hebert passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014, 3:25 AM at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Lillian Lonibos Hebert. Loving father of Barbara A. Hebert, Kathy H. McMenamin (Andy) and Daneel H. Bourgeois (the late Albert “Al”). Son of the late Felix J. Hebert and Lucille Hernandez Hebert. Son-in-law of the late O’Neil and Stella Ledet Lonibos. Brother of Lois Miller, the late Mercedes H. Lehenbauer, Hubert “Bobby” Hebert and Eldon Hebert. Grandfather of Mindy Bourgeois Tomlin (Derek), Kimberly Bourgeois Alvarez (Louis), Loren M. Anderson (Damon) and Aimee McMenamin. Great grandfather of Seth Reed, Victoria Antonion (Mike), Benjamin Anderson, Alyssa, Albert, Amelya and Abigail Alvarez, Dane Patrick, Cade Patrick, and Lillian Elizabeth Tomlin, Brycen J. Dominick, Brayden McMenamin and great great grandson, Jason Antonion. Brother-in-law of O’Neil Lonibos (Gail), Elvira Hebert, the late Richard “Dick” Lehenbauer and Marvin Miller. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lloyd was a native and lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. He was a retreatant of St. Joseph Abbey, St. Benedict, LA and Manresa House of Retreats, Convent, LA for a number of years.

Larkin Assembly, 4th Degree, K of C, and Parishioners of St. Cletus Catholic Church, Gretna are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Cletus Church, 3600 Claire Ave, Gretna, LA on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 1 PM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held at St. Cletus Church from 10 AM until 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, Masses in his name are preferred. The family wishes to specially thank the staff of Heart of Hospice for their care and compassion and to Jim McNamara and Mike Tidings for their faithful ministry of weekly Holy Communion.
