Pamela Rose Garrity Pereira

PEREIRA, Pamela Rose Garrity - age 57, a native of Gretna , La. passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 in Knoxville , TN after a courageous battle with cancer. Pam was a loving mother, grandmother, devoted wife and true friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Marie Sieta Garrity and John J. Garrity, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Patrick Pereira, daughter, Tracy Lynn Colwell, two sons, Todd and Jeffery Pereira, son-in-law, John Colwell , grandson, John Ryder Colwell, eight siblings, Joan Ocmond, Cindy Garrity, John Garrity, Sandra Banks, Christie Priore, Angela Hendrickson, Brady Garrity and Alison Hogland, brother-in-laws, Michael Pereira, Steven Pereira, Mark Pereira, Danny Pereira, Nathan Ocmond, David Banks, Jeff Priore, Andy Hendrickson, Joe Hogland, sister-in-laws, Barbara Cansler, Domini Garrity, and Kay Garrity along with 43 nieces and nephews, and 10 Godchildren.
Pam was a graduate of Archbishop Blenk HS Class of 1973.
Pam was a member of St. Cletus Church were she served in many capacities: Fair Chair Couple, Girl Scout leader, PTA member, Eucharistic minister, established VBS, Cub Scouts, CYO coach and was a recipient of the Archdiocese of New Orleans Order of St. Louis Award.
She had a passion for quilting and loved spending time with her grandson.
