Pastel Valerie Bryant Wilson was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 20, 2012. Devoted wife of Lynwell James Wilson of 20 years, and the daughter of Henry L. Bryant, and the late Ruth C. Bryant. Daughter-in-law of the late Peter and Orestine Wilson. Mother of Angel A. Parker, Jaleesa R. Wilson, and stepmother of Jatara Wilson.
Sister of Bantu K. (Crispina C.) Bryant, Oscar Nixon, Henry B. (Wanda T.) Bryant, Jacob J. (Joyce T.) Bryant, Venetia W. (Lloyd L. III) Meekins, Kimberly R. (Eric A. Sr.) Pazon, Albert J. (Charlotte D.) Bryant and the late Theodore (Betty)Williams. Sister-in-law of Peter J. Wilson, Melvin J. (Davetta) Wilson, Carolyn M. (William) McMain. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 49 years. A native of New Orleans, La., and a long-time resident of Westwego, La.
Relative and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services at Mothe Funeral Homes Inc., 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, La., on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 9:30am until service time. Repass to be held at Marrero Community Senior Center, 1861 Ames Blvd. Marrero. Interment will be held privately at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
