Patricia Hymel Braud

Patricia Hymel Braud passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Irvin Braud, Sr for 65 years. Mother of Paulette Blanchard (Gary), Irvin Braud, Jr. (Melanie), Monte Braud and Craig Braud, Sr. (Patty). Daughter of the late Eunice and Raymond Hymel, Sr. Sister of Delores LeCompte, Brent Hymel, Charles Hymel and the late Raymond Hymel, Jr., Gene Hymel, Mary Doucet, Terry Hymel, Shane Murray, and Johnny Barbier. Grandmother of Sean Blanchard (Brittany), Adam Braud (Jessica), Craig Braud, Jr. (Courtney), and  Demi Caulfield (Butch). Great grandmother of Maci Braud, Paxton Braud, and Jacob Braud. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board after 25 years of service and she enjoyed aerobics. She was a native of Edgard, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, July 17 at 11am.
