Patricia Bruno Bruce

Patricia Ann Bruno Bruce was welcomed home by our Lord and Savior on December 19, 2011 at the age of 58. Known to many for her giving spirit, caring smile, warm heart, and unwavering faith in God, Patsy was a true servant of our heavenly Father. She will always be remembered and greatly missed for her cooking and baking which brought so much joy and happiness to her and everyone who was blessed enough to partake in her culinary skills. She was the loving wife of David E. Bruce, Jr. of 38 years. The caring mother of Jeffrey D. Bruce and Steven G. Bruce and mother in law of Jennifer Bruce and April (Nicki) Bruce. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren Zachari, Marlin, Ryne, David, Olivia, and Elias. As well as her sisters Carolyn Melton and Brenda Knecht, her brother Lester Bruno, and 10 nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Gregory Bruno and Ida Henning Bruno. She will be missed dearly by all who know her. Our loss is heaven’s gain.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 23, 2011 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am for her family and 10:00 am to 12:30 pm for the public at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, LA. Funeral services after the wake are scheduled for 1:00 pm at Hosanna, 2215 Barataria Blvd in Marrero. Interment for family members will be held at Westlawn Cemetery.
