On July 21, 2024, Patricia Dugas Juneau passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was born on September 25, 1940, and throughout her life, she graced the world with her passion for cooking and savoring delicious meals both at home and in restaurants.
One of Patricia greatest joys was engaging in heartfelt conversations with family and friends while sitting outside. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering kindness endeared her to many, creating cherished memories that will be forever treasured.
Patricia is now reunited with her late husband Ferdinand Joseph "Fred" Juneau, whom she loved dearly, and her parents Odette and Norbert Dugas. She is survived by her children David Juneau (Lori), Annette Hurst, and Tim Juneau (Candace), who were the light of her life. Her grandchildren David M. Juneau, Katie Juneau, Brandon Juneau, Brooke Juneau, Blake Juneau, Michael Hurst, and Meaghan Hurst will carry on her legacy with pride.In addition to her immediate family, Patricia is also mourned by her brother James "Jim" Dugas (Gwen) and a host of nieces, nephews, and godchildren who were fortunate to have been touched by her love.
A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate the life of Patricia Dugas Juneau will be held on July 26, 2024, at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna, LA. The service will begin at 11:00 AM to pay tribute to a remarkable woman who will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her. As we bid farewell to Patricia in this world, let us hold onto the precious memories she has gifted us and strive to emulate the compassion and joy she exuded throughout her life journey.
