Patricia "Patti" Abadie Albarado East

Patricia “Patti” Abadie Albarado East, age 58, lost her lengthy battle with cancer and entered into eternal peace on Friday, July 18, 2014. She was the daughter of the late David “Dave” Abadie and the late Clementine Utley Abadie. She was the devoted wife of the late David “Killa” East. She is survived by her companion of many years, Michael E. Runyon. Beloved mother of Kamika Abadie Sanchez. Step mother of David J. East, Jr. and mother-in-law of Steven P. Sanchez, Sr. Dearest Mee Maw to the “light” of her life, Steven P. Sanchez, Jr. Sister of Mike and Cindy Abadie, Cindy and Willis Bergeron, Kathy and Lynn Crout, Harold Nea, and the late Garneth Nea and the late Gerald “Jerry” Nea. Aunt of Jason Relayson, Mandy Bergeron, Jessica Bergeron, Diane Weaver, Veazie Meyers, Shane Nea and Robin Nea. She also left behind her beloved Chihuahua, “Rosie” and a host of additional family and loving friends she considered family.

A memorial visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 4PM until 9PM. A Memorial Celebratory Party in Patti’s honor will be at McGuire’s Pit Stop West, 520 Destrehan Ave., Harvey, LA. Everyone is welcome to attend.
