Patricia Weyer Valence

Patricia Weyer Valence, age 81 passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Beloved and loving mother of Charlene Paz, Cecilia Alexie (Felix) and the late Juan Michael Valence, Sr. Mother-in-law of Anne Valence. Loving Grandmother of Stephanie LaCaze (Sean), Vini Paz, Rebecca Paz, Christian Paz, Jennifer Waguespack (Kimberly), Juan M. Valence, Jr., Jonathan Alexie, January Matherne and Sean Wilson (Kenneth). Great Grandmother of Zachary, Taylor, Nicholas, Cody, Jadon, Hailey, Caleb, Evan, Mylee, Cameron and Cole. Daughter of the late Ernest Weyer and Cecelia Cole Weyer. Sister of Paula Brupbacher and the late Veronica Lerille, Rose Romano, Rita Henning and Dorothy Langford. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Patricia was born in New Orleans and was a resident of Luling, LA. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Staff of Wynhoven Health Care Center and Notre Dame Hospice for their care and support. Patricia’s visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 5PM until 7PM. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 7PM. Interment will be held privately.
