Paul Alfred Daroca, Jr. passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013. Beloved husband of Joy Davidson Daroca for 10 years and Former husband of the late Catherine Giardina Daroca for 44 years. Loving father of Donna Gates (Wayne), Linda Daroca, Charles Daroca (Jodee), Paula Meazell (Don) and the late Robert Daroca. Stepfather of Joey J. Radabaugh and Norman J. Jackson (Sandra). Brother of Marguerite Ann Daroca and the late Joyce Swindler. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandson, Colin Gates and parents Marguerite McCraine Daroca and Paul A. Daroca, Sr. Age, 78 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Mr. Daroca was a member of the St. Andrew K of C #1907, American Legion Post 0377, and the Louisiana Society of Independent Accountants. He retired from Lykes Steamship Co. where he was an accountant for many years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 9 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 5 PM until 10 PM and again on Wednesday from 8 AM until 9 AM.
