Paul Joseph Delatte, Sr.

Paul J. “P.J.” DeLatte Sr. passed away on May 19, 2015 at the age of 67 years. Beloved husband of Sophie Nadine DeLatte. Father of Paul J. DeLatte Jr. (Dawn) and the late Jamie Lynn Barnewold (Andrew). Grandfather of Tristan Barnewold, Cody and Cole DeLatte. Brother of Michael, Billy and Nolan DeLatte Jr., the late Jack and Charles DeLatte. Son of the late Betty Theriot DeLatte and Nolan Willie DeLatte. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Paul served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Among his decorations are the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 stars and the Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon. He later worked as a crane operator for Ryan-Walsh Stevedoring.
