Paul Gerard Delaune

Paul Gerard Delaune loving husband of Mary LaPorte Delaune was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at age 62. He was a native of Marrero and Bayou Gauche and was a recent resident of Prairieville. Beloved father of Melanie Delaune Ford (Collin) and the late Sherry Lynn Delaune. Grandfather of Brayden and Dominic Ford. Son of Camelia Martinez Delaune and the late Edwin Delaune, Sr. Brother of Alice Walther (Harvey), Lorraine Dee (Tom), Dennis Delaune (Evelyn), Michael Delaune (Sandy), Samuel Delaune (Patty), and the late Edwin Delaune, Jr., Celeste Cemo, and Charles Delaune. Son-in-law of Joseph LaPorte, Sr. and the late Anna Giovengo LaPorte. Brother-in-law of JoAnn Orgeron (Clay), Deborah Mosley and the late Joseph, Jr and David LaPorte (Margaret). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Paul retired from LA DOTD where he worked for more than 37 years. He was a great family man, loving Father and lived life to the fullest.
