Paul Raywood Guidry, a retiree of Freeport Sulphur McMoran, Inc. for 35 years of service, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Gladys Gaubert Guidry. Father of Paul Gerald Guidry (Dawn Hollywood), Kevin Jude Guidry (Jayna Lowry), and the late Garland Mark (Reesa Gibbins). Son of the late Deussard Guidry and Modeste Leonard Guidry. Brother of the late Early G. Hargrove, Olivia G. Harrington, Earline G. Saltzman, Raymond, Dudley, and Farol Guidry. Grandfather of Alissa, Ashley (Josh Euper), Aaron (Ariane Trahan), Jude, James, Alec, Hana, Maddy, Katy, and Evy Guidry. Great grandfather of Hayden, Lillian, and Aubry Euper. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Paul was a two year Army Veteran of the Korean War serving active duty in Korea for 13 months as a Sergeant 1st Class. He was a native of Kaplan, Louisiana, a resident of Port Sulphur, LA for 47 years, and in his last years was a resident of Belle Chasse, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11am. Visitation will be held from 9am until 11am. The Reverend Gerard Stapleton will be the celebrant of the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in St. Charles Cemetery, St. Anthony of Padua Mausoleum in Luling, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 28698 Hwy 23, Port Suphur, LA 70083 and/or Masses preferred.
