Paul M. Richard

Paul M. Richard, age 90 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 12, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Georgia Minas Richard. Loving father of Deborah Richard, David J. Grabert (Jill) and John C. Grabert (Herbert). Beloved grandfather of Chris Wallace, Brian Wallace, Sheila Charron (Donald), Cheyenne Green (George), Courtney Navarre (Ryan) and Sarah Oliver. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren. Son of the late Moise P. Richard and Rose Lydia Danos Richard. Brother of the late Lester Richard (Survived by Gladys) and Irene Richard Chiasson (Toby). Paul was born in Matthew, LA and was a resident of Gretna, LA. He enlisted in the United States Navy on October 28 1942 aboard the USS Gage and USS Deimos. He was a 48-year member of A.A.; and retired from Jefferson Parish School Board. He drove School Bus 157 and was a member of Veterans of Foreign War and a member of the American Legion Post 222. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Westwego, LA.
