Paul Vallelungo

Paul Vallelungo, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Beloved husband of Trudy Stem Vallelungo for the past 52 years. Father of Roy Vallelungo (Pam), Connie Buck (Roy), and Vicky Lopez (Elio). Son of Paul Vallelungo, Sr. and the late Marie LeJune Vallelungo. Brother of Charlene Keller, Pete, and Frank Vallelungo. Grandfather of Chrystal, Jennifer (Billy), and Robert Mamolo, Jr. (Miranda), Jason (Jenna), and Jessica Vallelungo, Amanda Persohn (Billy), Tyler (Sheena), Brad, Elio III (Beverly), and Cory Lopez (Kasey). Survived by 12 great-grandchildren. Age 71 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a Founding Member of Westside Street Rod Association. Mr. Vallelungo served in the Louisiana National Guard. Relatives, Friends of the Family, and Members of Westside Street Rod Association are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 7 PM. Visitation will be from 5 PM until funeral time. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
