Pauline Casabat Silva

Pauline Casabat Silva passed away on October 3, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of Harold F. Sylve. Mother of Harry Silva (Diane), Charlotte Aucoin, Leonard Silva, Kathy Vavra (Michael), Larry Silva (Wanda), Johnny Silva and Lori Ann Silva. Grandmother of Ann Marie, Todd, Gordon, Michell, Robyn, Joey, Renee, Regina, Michael, Lena, Donna, Benjamin, Shannon, Michael, Jessica, Sheree, Joshua and Logan. Sister of Germaine, Rhodes, Marie Grief, Adam Casabat and James Casabat. Daughter of the late Edward and Angelina Fascio Casabat. Survived by many loving great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She worked as a homemaker and seamstress, was a longtime resident of Algiers, LA and parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association ( www.alz.org ).
