Pauline Myrle Smith entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of 62 years to Ovis W. Smith. Daughter of the late Paul Morgan, Jr. and Alma Viola Fortunia. Mother of Paul D. Wislon and wife Molly of Lumberton, MS; Kenneth H. Smith and wife Sharon of Conroe, TX; Bryan K. Smith and wife Kim of Covington, LA; Tammy S. Garrett and husband Daren of Varnado, LA and the late Ovis D. Smith and wife Nancy of Buras, LA and Gary L. Smith of Boothville, LA. Sister of Letha A. Lewis and husband Bud of Boothville, LA; and the late Leona C. Smith and husband Harold of Chalmette, LA; Antonia B. Blanchard and husband, the late John “Cop-Cop” of Boothville, LA and Sandra L. Morgan of Gretna, LA. Pauline is survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was born and resided in Venice, LA for 60 years, resided in Varnado, LA for 18 years and Covington, LA for the past 6 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 10AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
