Pearl Boudreaux Braun

Pearl Boudreaux Braun of Gretna, LA passed away on the morning of Friday, June 26, 2015. She was born April 26, 1927 to the late Eunice Thibodeaux Boudreaux and Willie L. Boudreaux, Sr. Her husband was the late Sterling J. Braun. She was the beloved mother of Cheryl B. Hebert (Lloyd) and Dale Braun. She was the sister of Willie L. Boudreaux, Jr. (Linda), Marion Distefano (Philip) and the late Letha LeBlanc and Catherine Boudreaux. She was the half sister of Edward and Wayne Boudreaux, Lavinia Summerville, Marlene LeBlanc, Beverly Gonzales, Karen Falcon and the late Josephine Boudreaux. Grandmother of Hiedi Puckett, Jacob Hebert, Logan Hebert, Justin Hebert and the late Jody A. Chiasson and Lloyd “Scooter” Hebert, III. Great grandmother of Brittany Puckett, Sterling Chiasson and great great grandmother of Jody W. Chiasson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pearl loved going on bus trips to casinos, bingo, keno and playing cards. She loved gambling. Cheryl and Dale wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Peristyle Residence, Lorraine, Justinia, Paige, Yvette, Felicia and Sonya; and Elenora and Danielle with Ameracare Family Hospice for their care during Pearl’s fight with Alzheimer’s. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 11:30AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Hook and Ladder Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
