Pearl Blanchard Cordes

Pearl Blanchard Cordes passed away on March 15, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Beloved and cherished wife of Gordon Cordes for 62 years. Loving mother of Eddie Cordes (Debbie), Gordon Cordes, Ricky Cordes (Gilda), JoAnn Dauenhauer, and Tammy Kodiak (Jericho). Daughter of the late Mabel Hebert Blanchard and Eddie Blanchard. Proud and loving grandmother of Ellis (Tina), Ricky (Jordyn), Gary Becker, Cheyenne Kodiak, Jennifer Yaconi (David), Megan Dauenhauer, Kristin Cordes, Michel Lee (Justin), Alisha Comardelle (Marty) and the late Natasha Cordes. Also survived by 13 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Dorothy Blanchard Roche. She will be remembered by her family and friends. She was always loving, supportive and kind to everyone she encountered. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 1pm. The Mass will be officiated by lifetime friend of the family, Father John Arnone. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 10am until 1pm.
