Pearl Dufrene Lauve

Pearl Dufrene Lauve passed away on June 4, 2011 at the age of 80 years. She was a native of Paradis, LA and resided in Waggaman, LA. Beloved wife of 63 years to Ned Lauve. Mother of Darlene Champagne and Penny Fonseca (husband Sterling). Grandmother of Crystal Melancon, Candi Scallan, Chad and Brad Fonseca. Great-grandmother of Summer, Macy and Brady Melancon, Kaleigh, Addison and Baby Caiden Scallan. Sister of the late Verlie Estay, Zolie Danos, Carrie Box, Paul Dufrene, Jr., Mathilde Graver, Ida Estay, Earl and Philip Dufrene. Daugther of the late Ida Breaux Dufrene and Paul Dufrene. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She was a Jefferson Parish school bus driver for 35 years, was a member of St. Bonaventure Church Parish Council, Our Lady of the Angels Ladies Club, Louisiana School Bus Drivers Association and Jefferson Parish Bus Drivers Association. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 6 PM to 9 PM. Visitation will resume at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling, LA on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
