Pearlene Collins

Pearlene Collins entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the age of 83. Beloved and loving wife of 62 years to Herschel Collins. Daughter of the late Wilton Vercher and Fay Stanfield Vercher. Devoted mother of Leonard Collins (Patricia Gibson). Sister of Corene Fulks (the late James). Pearlene is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born in Pineville, Louisiana and was a resident of Avondale, Louisiana for 62 years. She worked as a Custodian at Riverdale High School for many years. She loved cooking, cleaning but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11AM.
