Penny Murphy McGehee

Penny Mary McGehee, 68 entered into external rest on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Penny was the beloved wife of the late Billy Wayne McGehee Sr. Daughter of the late Charles S. Murphy and the late Leona B. Murphy. Penny is survived by her six children, John M. McGehee of Missouri City, Tx. , Mary G. Onebene of Harvey, La. , Billy W. McGehee Jr . of Belle Chasse, La., Colleen F. McGehee of Terrytown, La. , Pamala Tracey McGehee of Belle Chasse, La., Charles W. McGehee Sr. of Gretna, La, and her beloved dog, Pierre. Grandmother of Billy McGehee, Erica Dean, Lindsey McGehee, Jennifer McGehee, Shawna Berggren, April McGehee, Kevin Dean, James Dean, Justin McGehee, Charles McGehee Jr., Gabriella McGehee, Mallory McGehee, Gracie McGehee, Morgan McGehee, and Trey Michael Nguyen. Great grandmother of Zoey and Kaden Dean. She is also survived by her siblings Charles Murphy Jr., Samuel Murphy., Bonnie Palmer, the late Mickey Murphy, Fran Tucker, Lisa O’brien, and Maria Rassouli. Penny was born in the New Orleans area, and resided in Plaquemines Parish. She worked for the Times Picayune as a newspaper Carrier, for the past 30 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 6 PM to 10 PM, resuming on Wednesday from 8 AM to 9 AM.
