Peter F. Benoit passed away on October 2, 2012 at the age of 73 years. Loving husband of 51 years to Brenda Lee Barbier Benoit. Father of Caroline Persica and her husband, Joseph; Connie Blanchard and her husband, John; Chad Benoit and his wife, Karen; and the late Christopher Benoit and his wife, Denise. Grandfather to Megan and Alayna Blanchard, Spencer Persica, Taylor Benoit, Alexis Stonerock, Toney Persica and Lauren Persica Bray. Great Grandfather of Coraline Bray. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Jack Benoit and Rebecca LeCompte Benoit; brothers, Evers, Percy, Thomas, Lindwood Benoit and sisters, Beatrice Adams Hemphill and Catherine Guidry. He retired from Crescent Towing and Salvage of New Orleans, a former resident of Gretna, LA and lived most recently in Fort Mill, SC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 9AM until 11AM.
