Peter "Pete" Reilly, Jr.

Peter “Pete” Reilly, Jr., former New Orleans Police Department employee for 6 years, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at the age of 77. Husband of Marvel Bayer Reilly for 55 years. Father of Lee A. Reilly (Michael Harmon), Erin R. Haas (Kenneth), Shannon R. Webre (Craig), Peter Reilly, III and Rachel R. Keifer. Grandfather of Lori, Chloe, Sadie, Connor, Jace, Janna, Reilly and the late Travis. Great-grandfather of Gracie, Addison and Travis. Brother of Michael A. Reilly (Judy) and the late John O. Reilly. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Pete was retired from the Orleans Parish School Board where he was the supervisor of maintenance for 20 years. He was a longtime member of the Algiers Irish Rebels. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 14 years.
