Peter "Trae" George Vujnovich III

Peter “Trae” George Vujnovich, III entered into eternal rest on August 27, 2023. Beloved son of Peter Vujnovich Jr. and Janel Treadway St. Pe (Marvin). Brother of Ashley Vujnovich and Cullen Vujnovich (Darah). Former husband of Kayla Kinler Vujnovich. Godfather of Parker Vujnovich, Max Kinler, and Tony John Vujnovich, Jr. Grandson of Eva Vujnovich and the late Peter Vujnovich, Sr., and the late Calvin Treadway, Sr. and Doris Treadway. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and his beloved dogs, Creole and Kuna Cash. Age 40 years and resident of Port Suphur, LA.

Captain Trae was a hardworking certified boat captain and oyster fisherman. He was the proud owner and operator of P.G.V. III Oysters. He was an avid outdoorsman,  enjoying recreational fishing as well as being a charter duck hunting guide. Trae will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his big heart and his willingness to do anything for anyone.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Belle Chasse, LA on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 12 PM until Funeral Mass time at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse, LA.
