Philip Matthew Fink passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of 60 years to Elizabeth McCants Fink. Loving father of Terry Lind Fink Troxler. Grandfather of Faith A. and Matthew G. Troxler. Father-in-law of George Troxler. Son of the late Charles P. Fink and Caroline Lind Fink. Brother of Laura Mae Martin and the late Peter, Charles, Olaf, John, Clinton, Fabian Fink, Thecla Brechtel, and Carol Leaumont. A lifelong resident of Algiers, Veteran of WWII, and retiree of the Naval Support Activity after 35 years of service. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3101 Eton St., New Orleans, LA on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be at church from 10:30 AM until funeral time.
