Phillip Panepinto passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Bossier Panepinto. Loving father of Lyle L. Panepinto (Rhonda), Lane P. Panepinto and Lance A. Panepinto (Paula). Grandfather of Ryan Panepinto, Lacey P. Charvet (Emile), Lane Panepinto, Jr., Katie Marie Panepinto, Paul Panepinto (Ashley) and Lance Panepinto, Jr. Great grandfather of Gavin and Rylie Panepinto. Brother of the late Vincent and Peter Panepinto and Son of the late Lena Libert Panepinto and Peter Panepinto. Age, 88 years. A native of Chicago, Il and a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area. Mr. Panepinto was a Navy Veteran of WWII and the founder of Southern Seaplane, Inc. He loved flying, golfing,fishing and water sports.
Relatives and friends of the family also employees of Southern Seaplane, Inc., Panther Helicopters, and K&L Marine Services are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 1:30 PM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Tuesday from 8 AM until 1:30 PM. The family wishes to specially thank sitters Shelia and Kathy as well as the nurses and staff of Our Lady of Wisdom Nursing Home for their care and compassion.
