Priscillia Boudreaux Plaisance

Priscillia Boudreaux Plaisance gained her angel wings on January 1, 2023 at the age of 71. She was born December 14, 1951, the oldest child of the late Louis J. Boudreaux and Joyce Bourg Boudreaux. She married her childhood crush and soulmate on November 22, 1969 Mensy J. Plaisance for 52 years. Loving mother of Clint J. Plaisance (April). Grandmother of Tyler (Kalyn), Devin (Samantha), Landon, and Nicholas (Vicky). Great-grandmother of Kane, Royce, Novaleigh, Zinnia, Haven, Rylan, Astreia, and Anastasia. Godmother of Lisa Dipascal, Candice Naquin, and the late Cody Boudreaux. Sister of Rodney Boudreaux (Terry), Dwayne Boudreaux (Katy), and the late Byron Boudreaux (Christine), Aaron Boudreaux, and Viveca Lynn Guillot. Sister-in-law to the late Larry Plaisance, Sr. (Rose), Loyce Burnetz (late George Sr.), and Mickey Plaisance, Sr. (Sadie).Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Priscillia was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. She worked until retirement from Kmart after many years and co-owned with her husband Plaisance’s Bar. She was a vital part of the Annual Plaisance Bar Children’s Hospital Poker Run fundraiser, having raised over half a million dollars over the years.
Relatives and Friends of the Family, also members of David Crockett Fire Department, Plaisance Bar, Red Knights Motorcycle Club, Royal Sonesta Hotel, and Tony Mandina’s Restaurant are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 1:30 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 1:30 PM. A celebration of her life will follow at Plaisance Bar, 1920 Pratt St., Gretna, LA.
