Rachel A. Dessens passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of the late David Dessens, Sr. Mother of David Dessens Jr. (Gretchen), and Scott Dessens (Cara). Daughter of the late Edward Burge and Dessie Chapman Burge. Sister of Jewel Frey, and the late Evelyn Smith and Lewis Burge. Grandmother of Candice Laura, Derek , Alexander, and Mackenzie Dessens. Great Grandmother of Lucas Laura and Riley Triplette. A native of Columbia, MS and a resident of Pensacola, FL for the past 18 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 11am.
