Ralph Wayne Maronge passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024 at the age of 76. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Long Maronge and Kermit J. Maronge Sr., along with his brother, Kermit J. Maronge Jr. He is survived by other family members and his fire department family.
Ralph was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA, attended Behrman High School and later joined the New Orleans Fire Department. He was a member of New Orleans Fire Fighters Association Union Local 632 and retired after 31 years of dedicated service.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 9am to 11am. Services will follow. Interment will take place with Fireman’s Honors at McDonogh Cemetery in Gretna.
