Ralph James Schexnayder

Ralph James Schexnayder, 88, died at his home Wednesday, September 23, 2015. He was a native of Algiers and a resident of Belle Chasse, La. Lovingly known to his friends and family as “Uncle Ralph.” Beloved husband of Patricia Domangue Schexnayder for 58 years. Son of the late Harry O. Schexnayder and Edna T. Schexnayder. Brother of the late Ferdie Schexnayder Sr. (Lois). Brother-in-law to Jerry Gegenheimer (Donald), Gwen Hendley (Quint), and Joan Trosclair (Wayne). Jennifer S. Foret, niece, who “Uncle Ralph” considered his daughter. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Retired employee of LP&L and later Entergy. Ralph was an avid fisherman and loved his camp on Grand Bayou. Member of American Legion Post 218 and former member of Gretna Sportsmen Club.
