Ray F. Wingerter

Ray Wingerter was born May 31, 1946 and departed this life on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the age of 68 years. Husband of the late Rose Wingerter. Father of Douglas Wingerter and Hope Wingerter-Benoit (husband Jerry Benoit Jr.). Son of the late Camille and John J. Wingerter Sr. Brother of Melanie, Wilbert, the late Ura, Joyce, John Jr., Camellia, Althea and Melva. Brother-in-law of Theresa and Linda Troulliet. Grandfather of Rachel Wingerter, Vanessa Hunter, Jerry and Joseph Wingerter. Great-grandfather of Amber, Noah, Shelby and Sadie, Steven, Sophia, Tatiana and Tristen. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Relatives, friends, employees and members of New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board, Miley Golden Age Club and all family and friends who shared his journey are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
