Raymond Joseph Breaux

Raymond Joseph Breaux passed away on May 27, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Thelma Savoie Breaux. Father of Eugene Breaux (the late Rosalee), Ray Breaux (Linda) and Rickey Breaux (Natalie). He was caregiver to Rosalind Eudy. Grandfather of Valerie, Rickey, Stephanie, Rachel, Dakota, Kimberly, Gene and the late Kelly. Great-grandfather of Austin, Justin, Blake, Haley, Devon, Brian, Madelyn and Nevaeh. Brother of Peggy Tassin, Geraldine Pizzitolo, Anita Bourg, Lyle Breaux, the late Mae Belle LeBoeuf and Joseph Breaux, Jr. Son of the late Elizabeth Sapia Breaux and Joseph Walter Breaux, Sr. He is survived by many other relatives and friends.
He served his country in the U.S. Army, serving in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He later retired as a barge foreman with J. Ray McDermott. He was a talented woodworker, enjoyed traveling with his beloved Thelma and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 PM to 10 PM, resuming on Monday from 8 AM to 11 AM.
