Raymond F. Harris

Raymond F. Harris passed away on March 17, 2012, at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Ardelia Sanders Harris. Raymond is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Jackie, four grandchildren, James Tracy Harris, Sharah Frierson, Brittni Harris, and Caleb Harris and three great grandchildren, Lily, Leland, and Logan. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin (Mary), Gene (Zelda), and Jerry (Helen). Raymond was born February 17, 1929 in Tyler, Texas. Joined the Navy and was discharged as Fireman First Class 1948. Raymond went to work for Humble Oil & Refinery and retired in 1984.He was a faithful member of White Dove Fellowship Church for 25 years and was privileged to work for the church for 18 years. Raymond loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting especially. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and Waldenberg Village skilled nursing.
