Raymond Paul Naquin passed away on August 12, 2024, in Avondale, Louisiana, at the age of 87. Born on June 26, 1937, in Little Caillou, Louisiana, to Felix Naquin and Clonise Malbrough Naquin, he was the fourth of ten children.
Professionally, Raymond excelled in the oil field supply industry as a respected and dedicated sales associate. His hard work and commitment earned him the admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Personally, Raymond was known for his passion for golf, his culinary skills, and his love for dancing which brought joy to those around him.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and eight of his siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Pracheil (Butch); son, Danny Naquin (Carol); beloved granddaughters, Tammy Bavaret (Derrick) and Amy Zubieta (Manuel); and cherished great-grandson, Mako Zubieta. He is also survived by his former spouse, Mildred Naquin; longtime companion, Eleanor Lawson; brother, Davis Naquin; Eleanor’s family: Roger Lawson (Terry) and Sheila Rodrigue (Rene), and their families.
A Visitation service and celebration of life will be held on August 19, 2024, beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM, both at Marrero - Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC, located at 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA, 70072.
Raymond Paul Naquin will forever be remembered for his kindness, charisma, and the love he shared with those around him. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was cherished and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
