Raymond Joseph Stauter

Raymond J. Stauter passed away on August 2, 2013 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Velma Bouvier Stauter after 62 years of marriage. Loving and devoted father of Jean S. Fonseca (Poochie) and Reva S. Poché. Grandfather of Niomi Roussel (Audie), Maranda Kali and Shannon Poché and Amber Fonseca Pitts. Great Grandfather of Lindsey Roussel, Collin Roussel and Breanna Plaisance. Son of the late Nobie and Earl Stauter. Brother of Barbara Rodick (Adam), Helen Orgeron, and Sylvia O’Baugh. Raymond is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was a resident of Marrero and a Parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marrero. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the Staff of Heart of Hospice and Wynhoven Health Care Center for their love and care given. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
