Raymond "Roy" Treadway

Raymond “Roy” Treadway entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the age of 83. Husband of the late Robbie June McCormik. Lifelong friend of Willa Mae Dugas. Son of the late Sam Treadaway and Ruby Jacomine Treadaway. Father of Stephen Treadaway and Phyllis Galatas. Grandfather of Michael Galatas, Christine Galatas and Benjamine Galatas. Great Grandfather of Orlen Galatas, George Galatas and Edward Galatas. Brother of the late Ronald Joseph Treadaway and Rosemary “Butch” Chiapetta. Roy was a Parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for 7 years. He was a lifetime member of VFW, a member and Chaplin with the Knights of Columbus in Port Sulphur and served several years in the United States Marine Corp. He was born and raised in Port Sulphur, LA. A Visitation will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Highway 23, Port Sulphur, LA on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 8:30AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be held in St. Patrick Cemetery, Port Sulphur, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA in charge of arrangements.
