Reineann Candebat Blouin

Reineann Candebat Blouin entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the age of 91. She was wife to the late Bertrand August Blouin and mother to Denise Booth (Calvin), Jacques Blouin (Janet), and Paul Blouin (Florence). She was one of nine children born on October 24, 1931, to Dominick and Anna Candebat of New Orleans. Sister of George Candebat (Henny) and the late Joan Gettys, Willa Mae Finnan, Jimmy, Richard, Robert, Wilbur, and Dominick Candebat, Jr.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Arlin King and Jackie Lapeyrouse, and many nieces and nephews.
Grandmother to Sarah, Ben, and the late Annie Blouin, Brett, Joshua, Jared Blouin and Lindsay Blouin Friar, Breland, Blake and the late Brad Booth. She had 10 great-grandchildren. She was a friend to many. Reineann was a native of the New Orleans French Quarter and a resident of Kenner and Terrytown. She was a member of Heritage Bible Church. After raising her children, she was a sales person at D.H. Holmes and was Chief Deputy Clerk of Court at 2nd City Court Algiers.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 9am to 11am. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA
