Rene’ J. Rolland entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the age of 75. Former husband of Sylvia N. Rolland. Son of the late Julius Edward Rolland I and Mary Ann Polizzi Rolland. Father of Sandy Vinet, Renee’ J. Stoufflette (Husband David), Michael D. Rolland, Sr. (Wife Debra), Julius E. Rolland, Sr, (Wife Dana) and Shannon N. Rolland. Survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and preceded in death by 1 grandchild. Brother of Kay Aufrecht and Kathy Guthrie. Rene was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Marrero for most of his adult life. He was a veteran of the United States Navy from 1954-1957. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 11AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
