Reubin A. Lottinger passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Beloved husband of Bertha Acosta Di Pascal Lottinger. Father of Patricia Ann Thrailkill (Harry), Linda Lottinger Kahn (Norman), Dolores Di Pasquale, Barbara A Favre (Michael), and Roylene Kornovich (Stephen). Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Marie Baudry Lottinger, a daughter, Jeanne Marie Joyner, one grandchild, and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Lottinger was a former state officer and district commander of VFW Post 7303 for three years. He was a member of Cooties Pup Tent #20, the American Legion Post 218, DAV chapter LA 23, the Fleet Reserve Association, and the Marrero Lions Club. He was a veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam serving in the United States Navy and retired after 31 years. Age 87 years, a native of Algiers, LA and resident of Marrero, LA for the past 28 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also members of the above named organizations are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 1:30 PM.
