Rhonda Hughes Guidry

Heaven gained an angel on April 13, 2016 as Rhonda Ann Hughes Guidry went home to be with the Lord at age 59. Beloved wife of Glenn P. Guidry for 37 years. Loving mother of Casie (Titus) Hope and Courtney (David) Robeaux. Grandmother of Cadence, Josiah, and Addison Hope. Daughter of the late Jerry and Evelyn McFarlain Hughes. Sister of Diane (the late Bobby) Landry and the late Christi Lynn. Over the years Rhonda considered her most important job as being a devoted wife to her loving husband, mother and Maw Maw to her daughters and grandchildren, as well as her puppy dogs. Her favorite pastimes included shopping and cooking for her family, and although she was petite in stature, her enormous heart will be remembered by all who knew her. Rhonda was an exceptional example of what a faithful woman of God should be and she will be missed dearly. Her unwavering endurance in this life will be eternally rewarded by our Heavenly Father.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday April 18, 2016 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be Monday morning from 10 AM until 1:30 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
The family would like to thank the staff of West Jefferson Medical Center and Louisiana Continuing Care Hospital for the kindness and dedication in taking care of our sweet Rhonda.
