Ricardo L. Eddington born February 21,1950 passed peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2013. He is a native of New Orleans, LA and later resided in Harvey, LA. Husband of Valerie S. Eddington. Father of Robert Eddington (Erin), Matthew Eddington, Kim and Alfred Gardner, Ashley Aples (Briand), Antonio Henderson, Danile Weil, Steven, Jontiz, Ronnie, Shawnell and Kavon. Brother of James Washington (Linda), Son of the late Marion Longmeyer. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. He is retired from the Orleans Parish School Board, worked for the Regional Transit Authority, and was a current employee of the Louisiana Department of Social Services. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the funeral services at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 5PM.
